good basic overview
What I like that Rossi explains step by step how tune your base drum.
But I would have liked more examples of different damping methods, including for an open and closed resonance skin. And more information about the different basic types of skins as well. Because there are so many on the market you do not know what to choose.
Also instead of using a ring sticker and a cutter for cutting a whole there is another good method.
I simply used a clean tin (not the small size), putting it on the stove, heating it and melting a whole into the resonance head / skin. This method is free of costs, very accurate and it is also hemming the edges.
